MEET THE TEAM

Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, Dr. Kusiak, has dedicated his life to serving the Greater Springfield area. Dr. Anthony Kusiak is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and for the past 30 years Dr. Kusiak has mainly focused on providing the standard of care for each of the multiple injuries that patients suffer when involved in motor vehicle accidents. Injuries including neck and back strains, disc pathology, concussions and extremity injuries. Dr. Anthony Kusiak has testified and appeared in count on dozens of occasions as an expert witness and treating physician for patients who have suffered musculoskeletal injuries. In addition, he has also provided his expert opinion as a consulting independent examiner for patients who have suffered musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Kusiak finds it an honor and privilege to truly advocate for his patients.

Dr. Ian Giuttari is a chiropractor at TEAM in the Chelsea, MA office. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Kinesiology, and then continued his education at Life University in Atlanta, GA, where he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Ian began his career in Naples, FL with Trinity Chiropractic before returning to New England in 2020. He worked at Ocean State Chiropractic in North Providence, RI specializing in the treatment of athletic injuries. From there, he moved to Boston and began work at TEAM in 2021. Outside of work he enjoys playing hockey, soccer, and tennis and trying new restaurants in the Boston area.

Katie received her Master's Degree in Physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2005.  Katie has over 15 years of clinical experience in general orthopedics, pre-/post-surgical care, acute care, injury prevention, and has a deep interest in neurological rehabilitation and limb loss.  She works with patients of all ages and across all activity levels.  Katie takes an evidence based and patient centered approach to her treatments with emphasis on postural/core stability and functional movement training.  Katie strives to live by one of her favorite quotes 'What you do today can improve someone's tomorrow'-unknown author.

Dr. Francisco Serrano received his chiropractic degree from the Life College of Chiropractic in 1996.  He has over 25 years of chiropractic experience.  Dr. Serrano started his career working for Bisanti Chiropractic and Rehab in 1996 as an associate doctor.  In 2001 he branched out and started Chiropractic and Wellness Center and in 2010 joined our TEAM at Team Rehab and Wellness Center.  Although, Dr. Serrano treats all kinds of neck and back injuries his main focus since he started practicing in 1996 has been and remains personal injuries sustained from motor vehicle collisions, workers compensation injuries and slip and fall injuries.

Antonella Martone grew up in Saugus, MA and graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Her time there included valuable clinical experience through her clinical rotations with the Merrimack football, baseball, field hockey and men’s soccer DII teams.   

After graduating with her degree and passing her board exams to become licensed, Antonella worked at an outpatient rehabilitation company in North Andover where she was an Athletic Trainer and Rehab Aide assisting staff physical therapists and providing per diem coverage of area high school games, practices and training room treatments.  She also worked as a research assistant studying the breakdown of data and correlations for a gait analysis research initiative in collegiate runners.  

Antonella then attended Plymouth State University for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in Plymouth, NH. Her clinical rotations included working as a student PT treating and evaluating patients with varying diagnoses, including neuro, sports medicine, orthopedics and post-operative cases.   

After graduating, Antonella worked for an outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic in Burlington, MA where she treated various patient populations, including elite level gymnastics, post-operative cases, and general orthopedics. 

 Dr. Martone has a license to practice physical therapy and athletic training in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, is certified in CPR, First Aid and AED and is fluent in Italian and intermediate Spanish.  

Dr.  Ann Maria Elder is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  Dr.  Elder graduated Medical School from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey.

Dr.  Ann Maria Elder is the Medical Director of Team Rehab and Wellness Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.  Dr.  Elder has worked in a variety of Rehabilitation settings over the years.  She is also the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital in Ludlow, Massachusetts and serves as the Medical Director of Several Skilled Nursing Facilities in Western Massachusetts.

Carmela is the Administrative Director and manages and oversees all the operations of our organization to include various internal functions such as daily operations, financial management, business planning and development and marketing.  Carmela has over 32 years’ experience in a managerial role and ensures that all our business operations run accordingly.

A business and networking professional with nearly 20 years of experience who successfully cultivates long-term relationships with promotional groups, talent, management and upscale clienteles. Dedicated to providing premium guest service with the highest level of standards from development to execution. Committed to providing solutions for networking opportunities, business and political development as well as nightlife alternatives having served as a VIP liaison to the city’s most desired demographics. Individual who possesses a wide range of personal and professional contacts, from professional athletes, top law firms, the business and political communities and elite social circles.

Lizz's interest in PT started when she was in high school when her dad got involved in a car accident and required months of physical therapy at home.This led to her earning her associates Degree in Science at Hesser College in 2006. Lizz has over 17 years of experience with patients of varying diagnosis . Her areas of clinical interest include pre/post orthopedic rehab, sports injuries, chronic pain, work related injuries and a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Lizz has also taken courses with John Barnes, leading to certification in Myofascial Release, per MFR I, II, and cervical thoracic. She is also certified in Graston and Kinesio taping techniques. Lizz is originally from Colombia and is fluent in Spanish. Lizz is fitness oriented, and has run the Boston and New York marathon. She loves to travel, the beach and spending time with her family.
